No display. Ceased working - changing the batteries had no effect. It had not been dropped or moved.

 

This Controller arrived safely and on adding a power source was totally dead.

On opening the control it was noticed that there was signs of corrosion on various parts of the PCB due to moisture contamination.

This was causing various open circuits, this print was reworked but sadly this did not rectify the problem, a component test was carried out and it was concluded that the main I.C. was the issue.  Sadly this IC is not available as a spare and therefore this repair is not possible.
