Customer's Fault Description
i think that the receiver doesn't respond to the remote control
This remote and receiver arrived safely from Isreal and on testing was found not to be responding at all on any button press. The remote was tested with a ultrasonic tester and was found to be working correctly therefore the receiver was at fault.
On opening the receiver it was noticed that the frequency crystals had signs of corrosion on the pins (see image). Both crystals were replaced and full functionality was restored.
