Customer's Fault Description
All buttons work,except for the plus and minus on the volume control.This model is not made anymore.
This Technics controller arrived safely and on testing was found to have non functioning volume buttons (all other buttons worked fine). On opening it was noticed that there was some pad contamination on the PCB contacts around the volume area. This is due to worn rubber contacts corroding and contaminating the board.
The PCB was cleaned up with alcohol and the rubber buttons painted using conductive substance, full functionality was restored.
