Customer's Fault Description
The remote was unable to connect to my motor mover. Usually I press the power button twice then the green led lights up and it is paired with the control box. The remote led flashes when you put the batteries in but then nothing else. As you can see I forced entry into the unit to see if there was a quick fix by soldering on a loose connection. Looks like the is a wire that has come loose but haven't a clue from where! It's a bit of an urgent job as I can't put the van back on my drive without due to the limited space and gradient. Please can you have a look and let me know asap. If it is unrepairable would you know where I could get a new? Going to ring purple line tomorrow but a few posts pay they are now obselete.
Thanks for your help
Graeme
This Caravan mover arrived safely and on first inspection was forced open (see image). The remote would not send an rf signal and would be intermittent in functionality.
On opening the usual break in the print was found, this was reworked but only partial functionality was restored. The button metal plates were removed and on 2 of them there was a mass of corrosion found. This again was reworked and full functionality was restored.
