This fireplace remote and receiver arrived safely and on inspection the battery cable in the controller was faulty, this was replaced but it did not fix the dead fault of the handset.

A component test was carried out and it was found that the visible LED was open circuit, this was replaced and full functionality was restored.  Please note that a green / yellow led was fitted due to lack of stock of red leds, this does not effect functionality.
