Customer's Fault Description
The receiver and remote operate on the down channel but do not function on the up channel. Light on remote shows for both channels but only on the receiver for down.

 

This remote and receiver arrived safely with batteries included.  On testing the up channel would not function on the receiver, the remote was found to be working but the receiver not.

When the receiver was moved or tapped the receiver would suddenly start receiving on the up channel but only for a short period.

This led to the conclusion that somewhere in the receiver there was a dry joint.  Most of the main board was resoldered and then the receiver was tested over a period of 1 week and full functionality was restored.
