REMOTE NOT WORKING NO POWER FROM BATTERY TO EYE,

 

This Dimplex control arrived safely with batteries inserted, on testing there was no output from the IR LED.  When opened the problem became clear, one of the pins on the LED itself was connected to cracked print meaning it was open circuit.  The print was reworked and full functionality was restored.
