Customer's Fault Description
Alkaline batteries leaked and since this a lot of the buttons have failed to work.

 

This Denon control arrived safely and on initial inspection was in peices.

On rebuilding the control and testing it was found that some buttons were non responsive.

A full continuity test was carried out but no issue could be found but it was noticed that there was some contamination around the main IC.  This was cleaned up and full functionality was restored.
