THE REMOTE CONTROL WILL NOT SWITCH ON. NORMAL OPERATION IS TO PRESS THE ON BUTTON TWICE, THIS LIGHTS UP THE RED NEON LAMP ON THE REMOTE, WHICH MEANS THAT THE REMOTE IS READY TO OPERATE BUT THIS IS NOT HAPPENING. ALSO, THE ANTENNAE WIRE IN THE REMOTE HAS BECOME DISCONNECTED.

 

This Caravan mover controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be intermittent in power on functionality and when operating was not sending a RF signal.

When opened the on/off button was found to be damaged, looking like it had had an attempted opening of it.

This button was replaced and the RF aeriel refitted and full functionality was restored.
