Customer's Fault Description
The remote will not work and the red light does not come on when used with a battery. It does work however with the umbilical cable connected between the remote and the control box in the van. The reset procedure as shown in the instruction manual has been carried out to no avail.
This caravan mover control arrived safely and on testing was found to be totally dead.
The voltage from the pp9 battery was not present on the PCB. This was due to a faulty battery lead. A new battery label was fitted and full functionality was restored.
