Customer's Fault Description
Only works to increase flame not decrease
These fireplace remotes and receivers arrived safely and on testing 1 remote was found to be working fine and one was not transmitting a signal on either button press.
One of the receiver's was working fine and one had signs of a battery leakage (corroded terminals), the battery block was replaced and sadly the receiver was behaving erratically, this led to the conclusion that the receiver is non repairable.
On the faulty remote a replacement ultrasonic transducer was fitted and full functionality was restored.
