Customer's Fault Description
No buttons working. Fire is ok and I have two the same. The other identical remote works on both fires. I have checked batteries
This fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing was found to not be sending a signal on both of the top buttons.
When opened the reason was clear, there was corrosion / contamination on the button contacts. The PCB was given an alcohol bath to remove all contaminants and full functionality was restored.
