All buttons were working when last functioning. No signal at all now.

 

This Canton remote arrived safely and on inspection there was a dint noted on the front of the control (see image).  On adding a power source it was confirmed that there was no signal being emitted from the handset on any button press.

The problem was found to be a broken leg on the oscillator, this was resoldered and full functionality was restored.
