Customer's Fault Description
Nothing happens when pressing the buttons - switched over to the other Auping remote on the other side (it is original remote the Vibradorm is a replacement to the Auping remote) and the original remote operated the bed fine so can assume it is the remote controller that is not functioning. I opened it up to clean button contacts but this did not fix it
This five function bed controller arrived safely and on testing for continuity through the lead it was found to be reading fine. A component check found that all was also fine, this repair was almost given up on and classed as no fault found until the plug from the cable to the main board was moved slightly. It was then found that 2 of the pins connecting the plug to the PCB were unsoldered (see image). The plug was resoldered and classed as repaired.
