after the remote was dropped, it fails to power up. I've checked, and removed and reinstalled batteries numerous times.
Normally, you turn the remote on, and the LCD screen powers up, then you push a button to select the type of massage. ... currently it is dead and does not power up. .. the chair itself works fine as i can push the limited range of buttons on the chair to turn it on or off.
This Massage chair arrived safely and on adding a power source was confirmed to be dead.
On opening the problem became clear, the battery terminals had become loose due to a bad solder joint. These were resoldered and full functionality was restored.
