Remote control won't turn my bathroom to on? Light is on on the tv but nothing happens with the remote.

This Sarason remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have various buttons not responding such as the 3, 5,8, 0, txt and all of the lower 3rd of the control.

On opening the problem was clear, water contamination had corroded much of the print causing open circuits around the board. The damage was so severe that a repair was not possible however a replacement board was available which was fitted. Full functionality is restored.

Please note that this remote is not waterproof and care must be taken.
