Customer's Fault Description
The remote has been playing up for awhile and now it does not work at all. Suspect that this is due to some loose connection as i've done a hand slap in the past and suddenly it's started to work.
This PC speaker system controller arrived safely and on testing was found to not be transmitting on any button press.
On opening the control there were a few issues found, the first was that the support clip on the casing was bent outwards, this was glue up. The battery terminal itself was also bent backwards due, this was reshaped and soldered in key points to reinforce it.
The third issue was that the button array had signs of contamination from wear, the board was given a alcohol bath to remove all contaminants and full functionality was restored.
