Customer's Fault Description
Just replaced batteries and the unit still dead.

 

This garage door remote arrived safely.  On testing the power was intermittent, this was due to poorly soldered battery terminals.  The terminals were resoldered and full functionality was restored.  Please note that when replacing the batteries if possible it is best to insert duracel batteries due to their guarantee not to leak.
