Customer's Fault Description
Remote handset light is working but remote receiver is not

 

This fireplace control and receiver arrived safely and on testing it was the remote itself that was found to be faulty.   On adding a power source the remote was not sending a signal on any button press even though the indicator was illuminating.  This was found to be a faulty ultrasonic transducer.  A replacement was fitted and full functionality was restored.
