Customers Fault Description : The remote does not operate the lift. The manual buttons for the lift work per normal. Batteries replaced. An aircon engineer looked at it and said the remote itself is no longer working.
This Motorised TV Lift controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be intermittent in functionality, on inspection the battery compartment had signs of battery leakage. This corrosion was causing a higher resistance on the battery terminals. The terminals were cleaned up and robust functionality was restored.
