Customer's Fault Description
The on button seems to be working as the button is turning but not lighting the fire the down button doesn't seem to be working at all.

 

This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing no response was found on either the up or down channels.  The battery compartment in the receiver had signs of battery corrosion and sadly when opened this leakage was found to have traveled to the main PCB and caused some major print / component corrosion (see image).  Due to the extent of this damage this job has been classed as beyond repair.
