Do not work at all. Change batteries but not working

 

This Bose controller arrived safely and on testing was not sending a rf signal on any button press.  On opening there was some corrosion on the main board caused by a battery leakage, this was cleaned up but the problem remained.  

After a full component check it was found that the crystal oscillator was at fault, a replacement was fitted and full functionality was restored.
