Customer's Fault Description
Remote fails to operate garage door even with new batteries. Remote was inherited as part of house purchase.
This garage remote arrived safely and on opening the problem was clear. The battery housing was seperated from the PCB on one side (see image). The housing was resoldered back into place and full functionality was restored.
