Customer's Fault Description
Broken cover on power button. Battery cover wont slot shut( lugs are missing but still worked when taped on). Now whole remote wont work, sospect battery terminal issue?

 

This body warmer remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was broken (this cannot be replaced and must be held on by tape)

Also the usual problem with the button array was found, whereby cracks had appeared around the buttons and the power button was missing.

As the front facia is not available as a spare a mod had to be carried out to fis the button facia.  

Once opened the reason for the lack of functionality was clear, moisture had caused corrosion on many parts of the print.  The print was reworked and full functionality was restored.

Please note that this control is not waterproof and therefore great care must be taken.
