Customer's Fault Description
Red button won't turn on remote control red indicator light not lighting up

 

This caravan mover control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to not be functioning.

 On opening each button was found to be contaminated (with WD40), all buttons were replaced but the problem persisted.  A full continuity test was carried out and it was eventually found that the was a micro crack around the main LED.  This was reworked and full functionality was restored.
