buttons are very slow to function, sometimes will not work at all. changed batteries but still remote is sluggish or at worst non-responsive.
This hi fi remote arrived safely and on adding a power source was found to have a few "sluggish / non responsive" buttons. These seemed to be the main used buttons i.e. the volume up and down.
When opened the rubber conductive pads were found to be worn down on the most used buttons. A conductive paint was used to restore conductivity and full functionality was restored.
