Customer's Fault Description
Customer dropped in cooking oil, not switching in anymore.

 

This Royal caravan mover controller arrived safely, on initial inspection there were signs around the casing of an attempted opening (see images) and on testing was confirmed not to be responding from the switch on.

As the item was dropped in cooking oil the PCB was given an alcohol bath to remote all contaminants and also the power switch was cleaned with switch cleaner.

Also the power cable itself had been spliced and reconnected leaving bare power leads inside the control.  A new cable was fitted to prevent future issues.
