Neither button works interior battery fully charged type A23 12v alkaline

 

This Roller Shutter controller arrived safely from France and on adding a power source was found to be intermittent in operation on each button press.  

This was due to a small amount of contamination on one of the buttons PCB fixture which was causing a resistive contact at all times.  Also the rubber keypads were contaminated.

The board was given an alcohol clean and the pabs washed to remove all contaminants and full functionality was restored.

Please note that it is advised that a brand new battery be fitted when receiving it back as the resistive short will have drained any battery that was inserted when in its faulty state.
