Customers Fault Description : COMPLETELY DEAD
This Yamaha DIGITALSOUND PROJECTOR (YSP 30D) remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be responding from any button press. This was found to be due to 2 main issues, the first was that the battery terminals were contaminated (probably due to a battery leakage) and also a cracked solder joint around the Infra red LED. The terminal was conductively coated and the crack was resoldered, full functionality was restored (see testing Video)
