Metrik Maxitrol G30 - ZRHD Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Neither up nor down fire command is received from the remote, even though the icon on the remote lights up. Down fire sometimes works if you hold the remote in a certain way with the battery cover off.
The distance that the signal travels has always been weak, maybe 5 cm at best - if you can fix the remote and increase the signal distance, I would very much appreciate it please.

 

This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote itself was not transmitting expcet for only at about under 1 cm distance.  This was due to a faulty ultrasonic transducer.  This was replaced and the remote was then working at full distance.  The receiver however was showing signs of a faulty channel, this is due to a faulty 40.5k crystal which is currently unavailable.  Therefore a replacement receiver is required.
