Domestic Heki 4 Caravan skylight Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : nothing works on remote. skylight powers up when caravan power is put on. If you manually open skylight rain sensor closes it. The lights wont operate from remote .
This Caravan skylight controller arrived safely and on testing was found not to be transmitting on any button press.
A component test found that the IR LED and the buttons were reading faulty. All were replaced and full functionality was restored.
