Battery cover missing, unable to connect power. On/off button faded (Top right button)

 

This Body Dryer controller arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was confirmed missing and there were 3 buttons on the front facia that were badly damaged.  The battery cover was replaced but the facia is not available as a spare therefore a modification had to be carried out to restore functionality. (See testing Video)
