Customer's Fault Description

I spilt a cup of coffee over it it has worked intermittently but now is not working

This pioneer remote arrived safely and on inspection a few things were noted, the top sides showed missing parts in the casing (see images) and also the battery terminals were badly corroded.

The battery terminals were recoated with conductive paint but the remote still remained non functioning, on opening the spilleage damage was found on various parts of the PCB.

The pcb was given an alcohol bath and full funcitonality was restored.
