Customers Fault Description : Battery is OK. Both buttons operate intermittently and it is difficult to get contact.
This gas fire controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to be transmitting further than approximately 1 cm. A component test was carried out but unfortunately the issue could not be found. A modification was carried out to increase the input voltage to 9v as per previous repairs, this was carried out and full functionality was restored. Please note that due to this mod the battery cover no longer fits.
