Customer's Fault Description
The Power on/off buttons are not working or are very slow to work. The Volume + and - buttons no longer work. These are the most used buttons.
This amplifier control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have non functioning buttons.
When opened it was noted that there was some liquid contamination on the PCB and the button array. The PCB was given an alcohol bath and the buttons cleaned but the on / off buttons were also worn down so much that they were no longer conductive. These buttons were recoated with conductive paint and full functionality was restored.
