Carver Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Only works spuriously, very difficult to switch on
This Carver caravan motor mover controller arrived safely and on testing was found to only intermittently turn on using the double press power button.
This remote is turned on by pressing the red power button twice and tunred off by pressing it again once, when tested the control would turn on around 1 in 4 double press attempts and then would turn off using the single press method in about the same ratio.
When opened the issue was found to be the main power button itself was at fault. The top metal sasing of the button was faulty and the sprint was missing.
A replacement button was fitted and now whenever you double press the power it turns on every time (see testing video)
