This electric fre remote controller arribed safely and on inspection the battery cover was missing (this cannot be replaced).

On adding a power source the top 2 buttons were not responding and the lower 2 buttons were "sluggish"

On opening it was found that there was contamination over the button array and the coresponding rubber pads.

The PCB was given an alcohol bath to remove the contamination and the rubber buttons were washed down, full functionality was restored.
