Customer's Fault Description
The remote control no longer switches on the System. The battery compartment is a wobbly as well.

 

This remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery covewr was broken and held on with tac, this cannot be replaced and doesnt effect functionality.

The battery housing was also broken meaning hte batteries would move around and make intermittent connections.  The housing weas glued back together but the remote still had no function.

The usual component replacement was carried out but sadly the control remained dead, this was found to be due to the main IC being faulty, this is not replaceable due to being encased in resin which therefore has deemed a repair not possible. 

The customer has been offered a clone for £30 plus postage which was supplied on the 25th October 2017
