Customer's Fault Description
The remote control but the receiver does seem to detect anything

 

This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to be at faulty.  Even though it illuminated on the corersponding button press there was no ultrasonic signal being emmited.

This was due to a faulty transducer, this was replaced and full functionality was restored.
