Customer's Fault Description
Despite fresh batteries (3x AA) the unit reports 'Low battery level' on the screen and does not function.

 

This velux window controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a low battery message flashing on the screen and no functions could be replicated.

This was found to be due to a poor solder joint on a surface mount capacitor, the print was resoldered and full functionality was restored.
