Customer's Fault Description
The remote will turn the fire on.
<br />The remote will not reduce the flames.
<br />The remote will not turn the fire off.
<br />The 'down' button has now jammed.
This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the receiver was not functioning on the down channel. The down button on the remote was also sticking and also the battery cover had signs of being "chewed". The battery compartment in the receiver was found to have signs of a battery leakage which had caused some corrosion. This was causing a voltage supply problem, a replacement battery compartment was fitted and full functionality was restored.
