Customer's Fault Description
The fireplace can't be used as the RC doesn't work. The batteries are empty within a day and the display doesn't work well. There is no contact between the RC and the receiver in the fireplace.
This fireplace control arrived afely and on testing the device powered up but no signal was being emitted. A component test was carried out and it was concluded that the RF module board was at fault, sadly this item is not available as a spare and therefore a repair was not possible.
