Customer's Fault Description
I have replaced previously worn out remotes for this - but dryer and all parts now discontinued. Some buttons on the remote work (on/off and air flow plus/minus) but heater buttons don't and therefore it is only blowing cold air at the moment. I have dismantled the remote and attempted to complete the circuits for this button with some tin foil to check functionality but it still won't work. Is it worth sending this to you because I guess it could be the heater itself that is not working?
This body dryer control arrived safely and on inspection the facia was already removed and the buttons were cracked in the usual way. On testing the heater up and down buttons were confirmed not to be responsive. A small micro fracture in the print was located and reworked with conductive paint and full functionality was restored.
The facia was refitted ( it cannot be replaced as spares are not available). A plastic sheet was fitted over the buttons but please note this control is not waterproof so care must be taken
