Customer's Fault Description
The remote screen shows that the remote is working as expected, switching function and responding to button presses as you would expect, however it appears that the IR unit is not working - in that the IR signal is not being sent (I'm 99.9% sure that the AMP is still working as expected)
This amplifier controller arrived safely and on inspection the IR lens cover was missing (this cannot be replaced and does not effect functionality)
On testing there was no IR signal present on any button press, this was found to be due to a faulty IR LED. A replacement was fitted and full functionality was restored.
