Remote control won’t work unless held next to the receiver. I have tried a new receiver and new batteries in both. Thanks

 

This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a very tiny range when transmitting.  This is a common issue that is caused by a faulty ultrasonic transducer, a replacement was fitted and full functionality was restored.
