Powrtouch 10168-002-02 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : worked in December, tried in January no response, new battery fitted to remote and a new 12 volt battery fitted to the caravan as it would not charge, followed manufacturers instructions to pair the remote to the control panel but still no response.
This caravan motor mover controller arrived safely and on powering up was found to be transmitting but with a very weak signal.
On opening the aerial lead was found to be "crimped" within the case which was causing an intermittent break in the aerial cable, a replacement cable was fitted and also the phono plug was re soldered due to having suspect joints.
The signal is stronger now. The customer is required to re-pair the control with the receiver using the standard method and test the control fully.
