Intermittent control and then not turning on.<br /><br /> Apologies but I have had a quick look myself;<br /><br /> Battery checked okay<br /><br /> Peeled off front cover which revealed faults on the button membrane Signs of water ingress and damage to pcb tracks and rusty screws.

 

This bathroom tv remote arrived safely and on inspection the front had been peeled off and also the battery cover was warped.

On testing no buttons would function, when opened there was a large number of tracks that had suffered water corrosion, the print was reworked and full functionality was restored.

Some of the buttons had lost their springiness, a secondary button array was fitted under the origional to rectify this.

Please note that this control is not waterproof and care must be taken.
