Customer's Fault Description
Does not work to start, control or end operation of the fire. Red lights do go on for starting, increasing and reducing flame but no indication that receiver is receiving. As this follows dropping of the remote on the floor I guess it is more likely to be the remote than the receiver. Do you service receivers also and should I send both?
This controller arrived safely from Ireland and on inspection, the case was damaged and held together by tape and also the PCB was not settled correctly in the casing due to broken fixing lugs. The battery cable was also damaged.
On testing the remote was found not to be sending a signal, this was due to a faulty US trandsducer.
The transducer was replaces as well as the batter cable which restored electronic functionality. Then the case was replaced.
