Customers Fault Description : Fireplace does not turn on with remote now after changing batteries, before would turn on however only with great difficulty now on/off button does not work
This electric fireplace remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have faulty / intermittent buttons.
On opening the reason was found to be due to a contamination found inside the controller (see image). This corrosion was cleaned away and a few breaks in the print were found, they had corroded away. The print was reworked and full functionality was restored.
