Customer's Fault Description
LCD screen was malfunctioning partially (randomly showing / not showing) at first and has now stopped showing anything at all. The remote was operational when partially working and probably still ok from a functional p-o-v. (This is hard to test without the display working).
This control arrived safely from Belgium and on adding a power source was found not to be functioning.
On opening a replacement display was fitted with connecting strip but this did not rectify the issue. A component test was carried out but no problem could be found, it was therefore concluded that the issue is the main IC which sadly is not available as a spare. This has unfortunately deemed a repair not possible.
This item was scrapped as per our terms and conditions on the 4th June 2018
